President
Jill O'Shotz
Hi, I’m Coach JillO, and I’m obsessed with Roller Derby and Roller Skating. I found derby in 2011 and started skating on the banked track with the Arizona Derby Dames. It was a life changing adventure that I didn’t know I was looking for. My four children also participated in derby with me at different times and different levels, and I still love skating with them when I can. Coaching new skaters, both adults and juniors, quickly became my absolute favorite part of derby. My passion is empowering and encouraging skaters to discover that they can do anything and everything they set their minds to and that the journey should be FUN! I live in Bismarck with my daughter, my son and our 3 dogs, and I have a gorgeous granddaughter in Arizona who I FaceTime every single day. In my other life, I am a pediatric occupational therapist, working with children with special needs. My mission is to share the magic and joy of the derby community with all who are interested. Roller derby is a sport that is often misunderstood and I hope you will join us to see what modern short track roller derby is all about! You’ll probably surprise yourself if you do.

Hot Cross Buns
Life roles: Mother, Baker, Photographer, Writer, 9-5’er I love baking and am always up for making treats for friends and family, so much so I started a small baking business. Between that, bowling, derby skating, and a full-time job, I keep pretty busy. I also enjoy taking long driving trips which allow for camping, fishing, and photography opportunities. I joined derby by accident. Thinking I was just going to get some lessons on relearning how to skate, I found myself joining a local league. That opened the door to joining NDLD, and now I am home. I love the feelings of confidence and strength I get from my teammates. It also gives me much needed exercise in a fun, supportive and safe environment.

Secretary
T-Wrecks
Life roles: Skater, Organizer, Archaeologist, Dino Pants Advocate T-Wrecks (she/her) has been skating for 2 years and involved with NDLD since it started. Wrecks is known for her organizational and note taking skills which is why she is serving as the NDLD board secretary this year. Fun fact: Wrecks is an archaeologist and settled on the name T-Wrecks because she falls a lot and is known for occasionally wearing dinosaur pants to work. Extra fun fact: T-Wrecks knows almost nothing about dinosaurs...she just thinks they're cool!

League Liaison
Carnage
Life roles: Skater, Goofball, Octopus Lover, Overenthusiastic Derby Recruiter, League Connector. Carnage has been skating for 2 years and believes roller derby is better than therapy! Carnage is known for her outgoing nature and recruiting tourettes (Do you wanna play roller derby!?) which is why she is serving as the NDLD League Liaison this year. Fun fact: Carnage picked her name, M'ass Carnage, because My A** (M'ass) is going to cause a lot of Carnage whether it's intentional or she falls and takes everyone with her. 😎 Extra fun fact: Carnage wants to be able to jam like Mott when she grows up!
